Pollution prevention

We oversee the Environmental Permitting regime in Wales. Natural Resources Wales and Welsh local authorities regulate industry by issuing Environmental Permits. They impose permit conditions and carry out monitoring to ensure that emissions are prevented, minimised or made harmless.
