Remit Letter for the Welsh Books Council 2012-13

The role of the Welsh Books Council is

• to promote, encourage and increase people's appreciation of and interest in literature

• to support the publishing industry in Wales.

This remit letter sets out the Books Council's role in relation to the Welsh Government's strategic agenda, including the priorities and operational priorities that it expects to be delivered in 2012-13.
