On this page you will find information about the Welsh Government’s Economic Research Unit.

The Unit was established in April 2002 to support the work of the Economic Research Advisory Panel (The Panel) and to manage the Welsh Government’s Economic Research Programme.

The Unit is based within the Economic Advice Division of the Department of Strategic Planning, Finance and Performance. It works with economic policy divisions across the Welsh Government, together with the other leading economic public sector organisations in Wales.
